Ingredients

Water 445ml 400ml 320ml
Olive oil 3 tbsp 2 tbsp 1 1/2 tbsp
Salt 2 tsp 2 tsp 1 1/2 tsp
Brown sugar 3 tbsp 3 tbsp 2 tbsp
Bread flour 525g 450g 300g
Rye flour 150g 150g 110g
Bread improver 1 tsp 1 tsp 1 tsp
Milk powder 2 tbsp 2 tbsp 1 1/2 tbsp
Grated orange rind 2 1/4 tbsp 2 tbsp 1 1/2 tbsp
Caraway seeds 3 1/4 tsp 3 tsp 2 1/2 tsp
Fennel seeds 2 1/4 tsp 2 tsp 1 1/2 tsp
Yeast 2 1/2 tsp 2 1/4 tsp 1 1/2 tsp

Bread improver is optional - we normally omit it.

Method

  • Add ingredients in order listed in to breadmaker.
  • Setting: Wholewheat: Light, Medium, Dark.
