Simplicity Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons margarine, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup self-raising flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 level tablespoons cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Method

  • Grease tin and line with grease-proof paper.
  • Heat oven to moderate. (180 degrees C)
  • Melt margarine.
  • Put all other ingredients in a large mixing bowl and pour melted margarine over the top.
  • Pour mixture into tin.
  • Bake for approximately 40 mins.
  • To make sure moisture is retained, don't overcook.
