Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (100g) sago
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 sugar (optional)
Method
- Soak sago in milk for at least 2 hours.
- In a saucepan, bring to boil and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sago becomes translucent. This takes about 15 mins.
- Add sugar.
- Pour into a bowl and leave to set.
Variations
- If using soy milk, sugar is probably unnecessary.
- I like to put some banana and honey in the bottom of the bowl before pouring in the sago. Then I turn the pudding out onto a plate to serve.
