Ingredients
- puff pastry
- apples or pears: peeled, quartered, cored, finely sliced into slivers
- jam (strawberry or raspberry)
- sugar (enough to coat the sliced fruit)
- orange juice (couple of tablespoons)
- thyme
Method
- Preheat oven to 220 degrees C.
- Cut a sheet of puff pastry into 4.
- Toss apples/pears into a bowl straight away with the sugar and OJ.
- Put a tablespoon of jam in the middle of each square of pastry and fan out the fruit slices on top.
- Fold the sides of pastry to hold it together
- Sprinkle a little thyme over them.
- Bake in oven until fruit has softened and pastry is crisp and golden.
