Sushi Rice

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar

Method

  • Add rice to a pan along with 3 cups of water. Bring to the boil then cover and cook over very low for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and leave to cool with the lid still on.
  • Dissolve the salt and sugar in the vinegar. Pour the mixture into the rice and gently mix it through.
  • You are now ready to make sushi!
