David Pocock Chocolate Balls

Ingredients

  • 60g protein powder or almond flour
  • 2 heaped tablespoons cocoa powder (about 20g)
  • 3 tablespoons dessicated coconut (about 15g)
  • A pinch of sea salt
  • half a mini can of coconut cream (about 80ml)
  • 1/2-1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tbsp almond butter (or peanut butter)
  • ~25ml Water (enough to make it nice and sticky without being wet). Add slowly so you don't overdo it.
  • coconut for rolling the balls in

NB: We usually do a double mix

Method

  • Combine all of the dry ingredients into a bowl and mix together
  • Add in the nut butter, vanilla, and coconut cream and combine
  • Add in the water or espresso in small amounts. The consistency should be so that it can easily be rolled into balls, but not so wet that the mixture sticks to your hand when trying to roll. If you accidentally add too much liquid, add in a small amount of protein powder and combine again.
  • Roll into balls of about 1 tbsp, and roll in coconut. Refrigerate.
