Peanut Sauce

Ingredients

  • 0.5 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar or freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar or maple syrup (optional)
  • Pinch red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 0.25 cups water, plus more as needed

Method

  • In a small bowl, mix together peanut butter, vinegar, and soy sauce until light in colour, and thick and creamy
  • Stir in sesame oil, sugar, red pepper flakes, and water. Add water to reach desired consistency.
