- 2 cups plain flour
- 125g butter
- approx 1/2 cup cold water
Method
- Sift flour and butter until resembles breadcrumbs.
- Slowly add water until reach desired consistency (holds together easily but avoid getting very sticky).
- Wrap in glad-wrap and rest in fridge for 1/2 hour.
- Use approximately 2/3 mixture for base, 1/3 for cover of a pie/flan dish recipe.
- When rolling out, roll between two sheets of grease-proof paper (eg glad-bake).
