Tandoori Fish

Ingredients

  • 500g fish fillets
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh ginger
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • Salt (to taste) we like a large pinch
  • 1 tbsp ground coriander seeds
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp ground cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

Method

  • Blend all ingredients (except fish!) to form a smooth paste.
  • Marinate the fish in the paste.
  • Grill fish for approximately 8 minutes each side under a very hot grill.

Marinating is not essential if you are in a hurry.
