- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 cup self-raising flour
- 1 tablespoon melted margarine
Method
- Separate yolk from white of egg.
- Beat white until stiff, whisk in sugar, then egg yolk.
- Stir in milk and vanilla, then sifted flour, and lastly melted margarine.
- Bake in a greased tin at 190C for approx. 25 minutes.
- While hot brush with melted margarine and sprinkle with cinnamon and castor sugar.
