Taco Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 med onion, sliced
  • 1 lge can Red Kidney Beans
  • 1 tomato, peeled and sliced
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • basil, preferably dried
  • 1-2 sloshes soy sauce

Method

  • fry onions and garlic until tender in large saucepan
  • add tomatoes
  • drain both cans of kidney beans, mash one, leave other whole, add to mixture
  • add basil and soy
  • cook until beans are soft
  • serve in taco shells with salad (and taco sauce)
